Programs

Our PRP program is designed for individuals with a serious and persistent mental illness to reach a higher level of independence. Working hand in hand with your mental health therapist we assist by providing treatment and connecting you to community resources to provide lifestyle stability as an alternative solution and prevention of inpatient hospitalization. Individuals in our PRP will learn daily living skills, practice medication management and take part in additional forms of therapy.

PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION

PROGRAMS (PRP)

Our IOP sessions are designed for the client who has a long-term struggle with addiction and requires an increased need of support to reach sobriety. IOP sessions are offered in both individual and group settings. Your individualized treatment plan will include addiction education, recovery education, as well as relapse prevention techniques and counseling. Each client must attend at least 9 hours per week of service up until graduation. With the ability to complete your treatment program in an outpatient environment you may continue your career and education responsibilities.

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP)

Our psychiatric nurse practitioner provides a comprehensive evaluation focusing on past and present behaviors, symptoms and the effects of both in relation to daily living performance at home, school or work, as well as relationships and medical histories. Based on your individual needs our clinician will provide recommendations to design and implement an effective treatment plan that may include medication as needed.

PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATIONS & MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Dedicated to providing superior quality and unified care, our outpatient and intensive outpatient mental health clinic team consists of a psychiatric nurse practitioner, rehabilitation specialist, licensed professional counselors and social workers. Our OMHC provides services for youth, adults and families seeking individual and/or group therapy sessions. Sessions can take place in-office, in-home and virtually as well as in schools.

OUTPATIENT MENTAL

HEALTH CLINIC (OMHC)

Our outpatient program provides individual and group counseling sessions for the client who is struggling with addiction and has a strong support system, allowing you to maintain your career or education responsibilities. Upon admission, you will receive an assessment and our clinical team will develop and implement an individualized treatment plan for you.

OUTPATIENT SUBSTANCE ABUSE (OP)

We offer alcohol and substance abuse education and treatment programs which can be completed with or without a court order. A comprehensive assessment is conducted to evaluate the medical, mental health and social issues related to addiction, additional treatment referrals may be requested based on need.

DUI & DWI SERVICES

State of Maryland certified, ABC provides stable, recovery housing for individuals who are working towards sobriety. Our homes will provide a supportive and safe environment that will allow you to enjoy a new way of living while addressing all angles of addiction and your mental health. You will receive at least 5 hours of clinical service per week, including individual counseling and in-house meetings, as well as wraparound services to assist in your regained independence. You will be allowed limited periods of time outside the residence for clinical, vocational, educational or community activities.

Our homes will provide a supportive and safe environment that will allow you to enjoy a new way of living while addressing all angles of addiction and your mental health. You will receive daily intensive individual and group counseling sessions, as well as case management services in the areas of employment, transportation, and housing to assist in your regained independence.
